Students practiced their e-learning/snow day procedure. They practiced how to get to the link, click on it, read the directions and do the work independently so that when we have a snow day or e-learning day, they are ready.

We investigated sound waves and how far away we can hear a sound.
We investigated with how the thickness of rubber bands affect the sound they make when they are plucked.
Students began investigating sound waves. We observed that sounds come from things that are moving.
Students investigated how using two mirrors makes multiple images appear in reflections.
Today we learned about the line of reflection or the line of symmetry. We made hand prints showing their symmetry.
Students were given a challenge of reflecting light to hit a certain target. They came up with a plan and then tested their plan.
We continued to work on reflection using mirrors and flashlights. Today each group had a mirror and flashlight and they practiced reflecting the light off the mirrors and hitting a target such as the board, the fan, the globe and the clock.
