Students investigated how light and objects make shadows.
Students learned that we need light to be able to see. We looked through a pinhole viewere without and with light. We also went into the teacher's bathroom which is a small space and turned off the lights and found we couldn't see.
Students began a new unit about Light and Sound Waves. We talked about the difference between objects that make their own light and objects that don't make their own light.
We used another model for the phases of the moon, this time using a styrofoam ball on a pencil.
