Due to the upcoming holidays, students had a special scheduled science class today.
Leo and Rena were our class meteorologists and they observed the weather. We also made parachutes and floated them down the stairwell. Dovid Meir and MF were our meteorologists in class on Friday. Students did an activity with mystery science about the seasons.
I have set up an Adoptaclassroom account to help get it for my class. If you'd like to help, please go to adoptaclassroom.org and search for Dawn Bick. Lila and Micky were our class meteorologists today. We finished discussing and writing about our air challenge yesterday.
Liron and Elie were our class meteorologists today. We recorded the weather. After that, we were challenged to find a way to make a ball float on the bottom of a bin. Also we were challenged with a way to have a paper towel go into a bin and stay dry. Ask your child how air helped us with the challenge.
Noa and Yonatan were our class meteorologists for today. We recorded the weather in our journals. Then we explored how air interacts with different objects such as balloons, feathers, styrofoam balls and cotton balls.
Today's class meteorologists were Yitzy and Leon. We learned about how meteorologists measure the wind speed and how to use an anemometer.
Leo and Rena were our class meteorologists today. We also learned about how scientists describe and measure the wind.
Dovid-Meir and MF were our class meteorologists today. We also took bubbles outside and learned about the wind by observing the bubbles.
