Students learned about structural, behavioral and physiological adaptations that butterflies and other animals have. We also observed our caterpillars.
During science time so far, we have been observing monarch butterfly eggs and caterpillars and recording what we found in our notebooks. We also went into the courtyard and found insects and talked about what all insects have in common (6 legs, a head, thorax and abdomen, antennae, wings).
