2nd graders partcipated in a virtual field trip today sponsored by Discovery Education. It was called: From Hertzfeld to Home: A Farm to Table Virtual Field Trip
During the presentation, students were able to tweet their questions into the Farm Owners about chickens. Although none of our questions were mentioned, we had fun learning about chickens and the natural resources they use on a farm. After documenting the weather, we learned about the four types of camouflage and identified the types of camouflage in pictures of camouflaged animals.
