Students investigated how to fly their FOSS planes. They are working on figuring out how many winds they need to get to the end of their flight line.
Homework due Thursday- Response sheet swingers Students built the planes that we will use in our next set of variable investigations.
Homework due Thursday- Response sheet Swingers (in your email) Students continued building and testing their boats of varying sizes.
No homework During science class, students made boats of different sizes, having different capacities and they measured the number of passengers the boats would hold.
During STEM class, students played STEM games. Homework due tomorrow: Variables reading and Q and Boy o Buoyancy reading and Q Students finished with pendulum swingers on Monday. On Tuesday we began exploring life boats and the number of passengers the boat can hold.
Homework due Friday- Variables Reading and Q and Oh Boy oh Bouyancy reading and Q Students experimented with the length of the string and how that affects the number of cycles in a pendulum.
No homework We started a new unit in science, Variables. We used a pendulum swinger to find out what variables affect the number of swings of the pendulum.
During STEM, we continued our robotics. Homework due Friday- Take a Tour of the Skeletal System Pt. 1 and 2 reading and Q Students earned a free day with their behavior choices. They chose to do STEM bins.
Homework due Friday- Take a Tour of the Skeletal System pt1 and pt.2 (in their email) Students went over the test they took last week over Earth and Space Systems.
Homework due Friday- Take a Tour of the Skeletal System pt.1 reading and Q (in email) |
