Homework due Friday: Assignment in it's learning- Gravity in the Solar System reading and questions Students completed their scale models of the solar system and used a greenscreen app to put a space background behind it. They also took a quiz over what we've learned about space so far.
No homework Students used greenscreen to finish their model of the solar system.
No homework Students continued working on their scale model and checked over their work with a rubric.
Homework due tomorrow- In your email. How Big worksheet due Friday Students began calculating the scale of the sun and Earth to create a model of the solar system.
Homework- How Big WS in your email due Friday Students discussed scale models, why they are helpful and how to make them.
Homework due Wednesday- In it's learning, Go to it's learning, go to 5th grade science course, go to resources. At the bottom of resources is Scale Model Discussion. Start a new thread and add one thing you think is the most important when making a scale model and one thing you think is the least important. Then comment on someone else's post. Students finished responding to their edpuzzle you tube video. We also talked about scale models and how to make a scale model.
No homework Students had a great mystery skype experience with a class of 7th graders in Sweden. They were so excited and engaged and got a virtual tour of their school with an indoor soccer field. Ask your students about it.
