Students learned about how the amount of energy an organism has or has eaten gets transferred to the next organism. They learned about energy pyramids.
Homework due Friday- Nearpod lessons NBVYE, ZFHTX And OPLKJ Students did an activity simulating a food chain. Some of the students were crickets, some were frogs and others were owls. The crickets tried collecting food (markers) and then the frogs caught the crickets and took their energy (bags of markers) and then owls caught the frogs and took their energy.
Homework due Friday- 1-Nearpods not finished in class codes NBVYE ZFHTX 2. Predator/Prey nearpod with code OPLKJ Students learned about herbivores and carnivores using the nearpod app.

Students observed the frogs eating crickets and we talked about the food chain and the roles of the producers and consumers in a food chain.

We also started an experiment to put a plant in the closet with no sunlight to see the effect the sunlight has on plants.
