Homework- Study for tomorrow's test During science, students finished their stimulus and response activity.
During STEM, students worked on their robots. Homework- Study for the Human Body test, test is Friday Students learned about how a stimulus triggers a response and we began an experiment to see how quickly we respond to a stimulus.
Homework- Study for the test. The test is Friday. Students went over the study guide for the upcoming test over the Human Body unit. The test will be Friday, Jan. 29th.
Homework- Study for the test Students made an arm model and investigated how muscles work in pairs to move bones.
Homework due tomorrow- Edpuzzle Your Super Skeleton and Readworks Move Your Muscles During science, we made models of our thumbs and learned about tendons and ligaments.
During STEM, we continued working on our robotics for our competition on Thursdsay. Homework due Friday- Edpuzzle Your Super Skeleton and Readworks Move Your Muscles Thursday- We completed an activity called Bone Observation in which we compared plastic rat bones and chicken bones and how they are put together with one another.
Friday- We discussed the 3 jobs of the skeletal system and categorized 15 bones in our bodies according to which job they do. Monday- We made a model of a leg bone with dowel sticks and we learned how muscles and tendons work together to make our bones move. Homework due Friday- Edpuzzle Your Super Skeleton During STEM, we continued to work on our VEX IQ robots.
During science, we taped our joints together and tried to do some routine tasks. Homework due Friday- Your Amazing Oposable Thumb reading and questions (on seesaw and given on paper) and Response Sheet Bones on seesaw Students finished counting their bones and we did a Mr. Bones puzzle. We also taped our thumb joints to our fingers and tried to do some routine activities without the use of our thumbs. Today we learned about the 3 main types of joints and we identified the joints in our body.
