Homework due tomorrow: 1. edpuzzle What is a Gas? video and Q 2. Chem4kids.com, Looking for a gas article and gas quiz Students practiced their e-learning/snow day procedure. They practiced how to get to the link, click on it, read the directions and do the work independently so that when we have a snow day or e-learning day, they are ready.
Homework due Friday- 1. edpuzzle.com What is a Gas video and Q 2. Chem4kids Looking for a Gas article and Gas quiz, email me a screenshot of the final quiz page We brought in our chemistry expert, Mr. Alberts from Eli Lily to help us with our carbon dioxide experiment.
Homework due Friday 1. Edpuzzle Gases video and questions 2. Chem4kids gases article and quiz We worked on replicating an experiment we saw on a Bill Nye video of baking soda and vinegar making carbon dioxide and then the carbon dioxide was poured onto a balance and the balance went down showing carbon dioxide could be poured, takes up space and has mass. We weren't very successful but we will not give up.
Homework- Edpuzzle video Gases due Friday We watched 2 brain pop videos about matter.
Thank you to the PTO for the brain pop subscription! Students observed that gases have mass.
Homework- Science News weekly if they didn't finish it in class due Tuesday We finished the mass and volume lab in which we measured the mass and volume of solids and liquids.
No homework Students finished thier matter hunt activity listing what they think mass, volume, a solid, a liquid, amd a gas aret.
Homework due tomorrow: 1-Read p4-6 and answer tne questions in the email. 2-Edpuzzle Assignment 3B video and Q. We had science today to make up for yesterday.
