Students tested their invention to cool their cups of sand put in the sunlight today.
Students built their own invention out of egg cartons, cardboard tubes, styrofoam plates and bowls and tape to shade a cup of sand sitting in bright light.
Students investigated how earth materials in the sun and shade have different temperatures.
Hunter was our meteorologist today. Students learned about the sun and we brainstormed ideas of how to stay cool in the sunshine.

General Information:
Kindergarten students have science twice a week on Tuesday from 1:30-2pm and Friday from 3-3:30pm. Kindergarten students do not have science homework or tests. Kindergarten Science Units:
