Students built their invention again and drew a picture of it.
Students used their knowledge of pushes and pulls and the devices we have built to create a Rube Goldberg type system in which one objects pushes a domino or ball and knocks into the other domino or ball.
Students made tops and learned about spinning motion.
Students stood dominoes up and figured out how to space them to knock down all of them by pushing one domino.
Students used their k'nex pieces to build a swing. We talked about how the swing is a system with essential and non essential parts. We also talked about how the swing can be used to push the ball.
Students observed mealworm adults and we used our slides to see how far our ball can roll.
