On Thursday, we watched a brain pop jr video about pushes and pulls and we discussed examples of pushes and pulls. Thank you to the PTO for our brainpop subscription!!
On Friday, we played interactive online games on fossweb about pushes and pulls.

Students used dominoes to investigate how a push can make more than one object fall.
Students built a swing in class and discussed how pushes and pulls made the swing move. We also talked about systems and how the swing parts work together.
Today in science, students will measure how far their ball rolls down the ramp with unifix cubes.
Tomorrow in science, students will see a mysery skype lesson online and learn more about pushes and pulls. Students practiced using unifix cubes to measure the carpet. We also saw Ms. Solomon tag a butterfly and release it into the courtyard.
Students investigated motion of a ball. We built a ramp to roll the ball down.
Students began a unit about forces Push, Pull, Go.
They got all their equipment to build and had free time to build. |
General Information:
Kindergarten students have science twice a week on Tuesday from 1:30-2pm and Friday from 3-3:30pm. Kindergarten students do not have science homework or tests. Kindergarten Science Units:
