Students watched a Brain pop jr. Video about spring and we drew pictures showing what we do in the spring. Thank you to the PTO for our Brain Pop subscription!!
We made thank you hand prints for Mr. Flo, our Eli Lily Coach. Friday's class earned a free day and they chose to play kahoot.
Students investigated what stains fabric and how we use water, scrubbing and soap to clean fabric.
My Friday group finished pulling apart a wool fabric and observing the weaving.
Students experimented with fabrics and water. Some fabrics absorb water and some of the fabrics had the water bead up.
We had a guest come to teach us about coding and robotics. Seth Hamilton, a Technology Coach from Washington Township, showed us his Sphero, Dash and Dot robots controlled by codes on an ipad.
Check out our pictures. Students identified fabrics in the room, compared and contrasted fabrics and their uses and we looked at how burlap is woven.
A big thank you to Mr. Flo for coming to our classroom once a month and helping with the Kindergarten class. Today was Mr. Flo's last day with us. Students will be observing woven fabric and taking apart the fabric to see the pattern.
