Students began a new unit about Weather and Sky. We talked about what we already know about the weather and what to observe when we're talking about the weather.
Students found pictures in magazines of rolling, spinning, things that need to be pushed and things that need to be pulled.
Students built an invention to push a ball and knock down a domino.
Students investigated how to knock down a domino with a ball. They decided it might be better to have an object guiding where the ball goes. So, they began building it.
Students made tops today and talked about spinning and twirling motion.
Kindergarten earned a free day with their behavior choices.

General Information:
Kindergarten students have science twice a week on Tuesday from 1:30-2pm and Friday from 3-3:30pm. Kindergarten students do not have science homework or tests. Kindergarten Science Units:
