Students enjoyed touching and holding our new chicks. We have 26 chickens that have hatched.
We also made life cycles of the chickens and butterflies. Students began an investigation to find out what happens when we put water in a cold environment. We also learned about recycling.
Students candled the chick eggs looking for signs of growth and development. They also observed rock and sorted their rocks.
Students evaluated cloth and fabric for its use. We made a graph of clothing items and which type of fabric would be best for that clothing.
Students analyzed their washing strategy and determined what stains were the hardest to remove from their cloth.
Students stained pieces of fabric with different food stains. Then we washed the fabric to see what stains could be removed.
