Students used thermometers to investigate their earth materials under the light and near the window. We discovered that the earth materials under the light were warmer than those near the window.
Students began an experiment to find out if earth materials get warmer in the sun or shade. Each group chose to test dirt, water, sand or rocks.

We observed the weather, including the clouds, wind, precipitation and temperature). We also investigated tornadoes with 2L bottles connected with a tube.

General Information:
Kindergarten students have science twice a week on Tuesday from 1:30-2pm and Friday from 3-3:30pm. Kindergarten students do not have science homework or tests. Kindergarten Science Units:
