Students practiced their e-learning/snow day procedure. They practiced how to get to the link, click on it, read the directions and do the work independently so that when we have a snow day or e-learning day, they are ready.
Homework due Friday- Read p. 3-7 in your Energy and Electromagnetism book and do the questions on a piece of paper. Students learned what materials conduct electricity and what materials do not conduct or insulate electricity.
Homework- Read P. 3-7 in your Energy and Electromagnetism book. Answer the questions on p.7 on your own paper. Due Friday Students investigated how they can use a wire and bulb to locate the circuit pathway in a mystery box.
No homework Students continue to learn about electricity. Today we tried adding more than one battery to a circuit.
No homework Students created two circuits to transform chemical energy into light energy and mechanical and sound energy. We learned what a circuit is and how all the parts of a circuit system must be connected for the circuit to work.
Homework due Friday- Energy and Its Forms reading and Q We investigated how to light a light bulb with a wire, a bulb and a battery. We learned about connect points and circuits.
Homework- Energy and its forms reading and Q due Friday Students investigate what happens to energy when objects collide.
No homework Students investigated the sun's energy and how it warms the earth and its materials.
Homework due Friday- Potential and Kinetic energy reading and Q Students learned the difference between potential and kinetic energy.
