Students explored how we use our senses to figure out what an unknown object is.
No homework Students reviewed the idea that living things have structures that serve 3 functions: survival, growth and reproduction. We used information about a polar bear to sort the polar bear internal and external structures into their functions.
Homework due Friday- Observing the Great Outdoors sheet Students observed the growing caterpllars, We also observed the internal structures of a lima bean seed and saw the embryo and cotyledon.

Students have begun learning about the structures and functions that living things have that help them survive. We have observe monarch eggs and caterpillars and sorted living things structures into internal vs external structures as well as function.
