Last week in science, students began a mystery skype with Mrs. Linkon during which they learned about seeds being transported and why it is important for seeds to not land near trees. Today we cleaned the crayfish tanks and measured our bean seeds and we made seed models and we'll see how well they "fly" next time.

Students learned about the internal and external structures of the crayfish. We watched a crayfish dissection video showing us the gills, heart, glands, stomach, brain and nerve cord of the crayfish.
No homework We cleaned the crayfish tanks and students voted to watch a video for their free day activity.
Homework- Science News due Friday Students finished their entry for the cultural exchange box we'll be sending to Canada.
No homework Students used google slides and laptops today to add to a google slide presentation we are making to share with other schools about Indiana and Judaism.
Homework- Read p. 20-21 in your Structures of Life book and complete the questions given in class. Due Friday Students did a mystery skype in which they gave and guessed clues from another class in a different state to figure out where they were located. They were in Oklahoma and they sang us the Oklahoma song from the musical Oklahoma! So awesome!!
No homework Students cleaned the crayfish tanks, identified crayfish as males or females, measured their bush bean plants, took a multiple intelligence survey and played Moby max.com. We had a full day.
Homework- Read p. 17-19 in your Structures of Life book and answer the questions given in class. Due Friday Students finished learning about the structures of a crayfish including how you can tell females from male crayfish. Students were challenged to find out if their crayfish were male or female.
