Students took their test today over Earth's Changing Surface.
Students investigated the structure of the earth and the movement of plates of crust that cause earthquakes, volcanoes, and mountains.
Today we simulated a volcanic eruption and reviewed for the test. The test over Earth's Changing Surface is Tuesday. Homework-Study for the test Students observed their rock jars and compared them to learn about weathering and abrasion.
Homework- Glaciers reading due Friday Test Tuesday April 16 over Earth's Changing Surface Students got their study guides for their upcoming test on Earth's Changing Surface.
The test will be Tuesday, April 16. We also reviewed weathering, erosion and deposition. Homework- Glaciers reading and Q due Friday Students had science twice today. We investigated wind erosion creating hoodoos and sand dunes.
No homework Students learned about glaciers and how glaciers shape the earth.
Homework due Friday- Rivers Flowing Near You Reading and Q Students learned about rocks rubbing against each other called abrasion. We also set up rock jars to simulate and observe rocks rubbing against each other in a river.
Homework due Friday- River Flowing Near You reading and Q Students repeated the river table experiment altering a variable such as slope, buildings, and amount of water to see how that affects the river created.
