Students learned about alternative energy and we built a wind turbine.
Homework due Friday-Energy reading and Q Homework due Friday: Read energy article and answer questions.
Students investigated energy moving through marbles that were touching and learned that it is a similar wave action to water.
Homework due Friday: Energy Reading (given to them) and questions Students had a guest speaker from Crop Ambassadors talking with us about Farming and the Water Cycle. Students learned about waves. We learned that large waves have more energy than smaller waves.
No homework Students continue to observe energy converting from one kind to another. Today we used a solar cell to turn light energy into electricity and then it became motion energy.
Homework- Read p. 8-12 in your Energy and Electromagnetism book, answer the questions on p.12 on paper. Due Wednesday |
