Students went over a study guide for the test they will have next week on Motion and Design.
Homework- Study for the test, test is Friday, March 6

Students began to design their arthropods.
Homework due tomorrow- Newton's 3 Laws reading and questions Students tested their boats to see if their redesign improved the speed of the boat or the cost of the boat. We also graded our science notebooks.
Homework due Friday- Newton's 3 Laws reading and questions Students brainstormed ways to improve their boats, by making them faster or cheaper. Students adjusted their boats and we'll test them next time.
Homework due Friday- Newton's 3 Laws reading and Q Students had a mystery skype with another class. We also talked about the forces that move our boat and how to improve our design.
No homework One group earned a free day and the other group learned about arthropods in order to design an arthropod.
No homework Students built their boats and tested how long it took the boat to sail to the send of the container.
No homework Students were challenged to build a boat that could travel across a body of water.
No homework Students pretended they were as small as ants and tried to imagine what the courtyard would look like to them. They mapped out an "adventurous route" that the ants could take in the courtyard.
Homework due Friday- Boat and Sail questions Mrs. Stoller was here on Monday while Mrs. Bick was at a conference.
Students did a mystery science activity in which they learned about energy and speed. Today we finished that activity in class. Homework- Boat and Sail questions due Friday |
