On Friday, we continued to review measurement by playing measurement games on fossweb. Homework- Study for the science test. The test is Oct. 4th.

Homework- study for the science test on Oct. 4th Students reviewed metric measurement and went over a study guide for the test they will have Oct. 4th.
Students continue to review metric measurement and today we created a plan to find out if cans of soda really hold the amount they claim it does.
Homework- I check #3 due Friday Students practiced measuring temperature by graphing the temperature of water after an ice cube was added each minute.
On Friday, students will watch a Bill Nye video about Measurement and will review the types of measurement, what tools are used and what units are metric. Homework due Friday- I check #2 Friday in science, we completed learning how to measure volume and capacity in metric measurements. Today in science we began learning how scientists measure temperature.
Homework due Friday- I check #2 With the holiday on Monday, we had a make up science time today.
Students continued to practice measuring volume and capacity. Homework due Fri- Balance sheet Students measured 100g of gravel and we put 10 of them together to feel how much a kilogram weighs. We also remeasured all of our larger mass objects to get a more accurate mass.
